Post Office GDS Recruitment 2025: Salary Details
Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) are paid through the Time Related Continuity Allowance (TRCA), which increases by 3% each year, as per the rules. They are also entitled to a Dearness Allowance (DA) based on their TRCA, according to government guidelines. In addition, GDS employees get other allowances and benefits, like GDS Gratuity and the Service Discharge Benefit Scheme (similar to the National Pension System for regular employees).
